HARU SUSHI
Haru is a small, independent sushi and bubble tea spot in Bloemfontein known for colourful, fresh meals and a soft, minimalist aesthetic none of which came through in their packaging. It arrived generic and unbranded, with leaking sauce cups and wasabi pressed straight against the sushi with no divider.
Packaging Design

This redesign closes that gap improving structural integrity, preventing leakage, and introducing proper separation between food elements, while prioritising sustainability and brand consistency. Drawing on "Haru," meaning spring in Japanese, the packaging matches their identity, turning the unboxing experience into something intentional and memorable rather than an afterthought.
